Strawberry Shortcake was first introduced as a greeting card in the early 1970s. The Berry Universe grew to include to 32 berry sweet characters with their own personalities and pets. 

For over 40 years, fans have grown up with Strawberry Shortcake and her Berry Besties, the famous characters Orange Blossom, Lemon Meringue, Blueberry Muffin and Lime Chiffon. From Strawberryland to Big Apple City, Strawberry Shortcake inspires girls to bake the world a better place, creating a world where even the littlest berry's effort can make a huge difference.
